Bert Ott - Christ for Germany
Bert & Daffol Ott
Please allow me to introduce my dear friend, Bert Ott. When I arrived in Crawfordsville, IN in 1971, Bert had recently brought his German baking skills to town, and was owner/operator of the local bakery. We first met in Rotary Club.
He soon began attending the Woodland Heights Christian Church, and made his decision for Christ. I had the privilege of baptizing him, and shortly after that his wife, Lucie.
Bert was raised German Lutheran and Lucy German Catholic. They soon became very active in the life and ministry of the church.
Feeling the need to return to their native land as Christian Missionaries, they eventually sold their bakery and enrolled in Ozark Bible College.
